What You'll Be Doing

Evyap Sabun Malaysia is seeking a Costing Executive to manage product costing activities, analyze cost structures, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide accurate cost information to support business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

1.SAP Costing & Closing Activities

• Perform monthly SAP costing and closing activities for FMCG and Oleo operations.
• Review production and process orders, including material consumption, activities, and variances.
• Support CO closing activities, cost allocations, assessment cycles, and settlement processes.
• Assist in standard cost calculations and cost releases.
• Monitor actual versus standard production costs.

2.Inventory & Reconciliation

• Perform inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Review stock movements, slow-moving inventories, and inventory provisions.
• Support tank reconciliation, mass balance checks, and cycle count activities.
• Validate inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies.

3.Product Costing & Profitability Analysis

• Prepare product cost analysis by SKU, product category, and business segment.
• Support cost simulations for new products and pricing exercises.
• Assist in margin analysis, transfer pricing calculations, and profitability reviews.
• Monitor raw material, utility, and manufacturing cost trends.

4.Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly management reports, EBITDA analysis, and profitability reports.
• Support MBR, forecast, budget, and variance analysis processes.
• Extract and analyze SAP data for reporting purposes.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports requested by management and regional teams.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports requested by management and regional teams.

5.Process Improvement & Documentation

• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Ensure all recurring tasks have proper backup documentation and file storage.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects involving SAP CO, costing, reporting, and inventory management.
• Support Power BI and reporting enhancement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in costing, manufacturing finance, or management accounting.
• Experience in FMCG, Oleochemical, Chemical, or Manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Hands-on SAP experience, preferably SAP CO, PP, MM, and FI modules.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and analysis.
• Willing to work at Pasir Gudang, Johor.
