Position Title: Customer Service Executive
Language requirements: Mandarin, English & Basic Korean OR Mandarin, English & Cantonese
Job Summary
We're looking for a Customer Service Executive to provide exceptional customer support via phone calls and email. You'll primarily communicate in Mandarin and English, while also providing basic Korean language support or Cantonese language support when required. Korean-related or Cantonese related enquiries account for approximately 20% of the overall workload and are typically concentrated during one quarter of the year. The remaining workload will mainly involve supporting the Chinese-speaking customer base. This role is ideal for candidates who have basic Korean communication skills or Cantonese communication skills, including self-learned speakers or K-pop enthusiasts who are comfortable with everyday conversations. Professional-level Korean proficiency is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and professional customer support via phone calls and email.
- Communicate confidently in Mandarin and English, while handling minimum Korean or Cantonese customer enquiries when required.
- Accurately log, track, and follow up on customer feedback and issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and continuously improve the internal knowledge base and customer service workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product and Technical Support) to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Perform other customer service-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Preferably Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or higher education level holder in any courses.
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience (handle inbound/outbound call) is required. (Fresh graduates will not be considered.)
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken, written, and typing).Able to communicate in basic KoreanOR Cantonese (either one) for everyday conversations.
- Professional Korean proficiency is not required. Candidates who are self-taught Korean speakers or K-pop enthusiasts with practical conversational Korean are encouraged to apply.
- No Korean language certification is required, although TOPIK or other Korean language certifications will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, tools, and procedures.
- Willing to work on a rotational shift schedule (9am-6pm or 1pm-10pm), including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems such as Zendesk is an added advantage.
