Data Analyst

About the role

You will design and build scalable pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources, cleanse and transform data using ETL/ELT processes, and design efficient data models for data warehouses and analytical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming, logs, etc.)
• Cleanse, transform and enrich data using ETL/ELT processes to ensure accuracy, consistency and business readiness
• Design efficient data models and schemas for data warehouses, data lakes and analytical platforms
• Design, implement and optimize storage solutions including data lakes, warehouse and databases
• Implement validation, quality checks, metadata management and data governance best practices
• Schedule, monitor and automate data workflows using orchestration tools for reliability and performance
• Tune pipelines, queries and data architectures for performance, scalability and cost-efficiency
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting and recovery strategies to ensure data reliability
• Work closely with data analytics, data scientists, backend developers and business stakeholders

About you

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Experience building end-to-end data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and programming languages
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational & NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with big data, data warehouse or data lake solutions
• Experience with orchestration tools and workflow scheduling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering or related field
• Strong foundation in data structure, algorithms and programming
• Good understanding of databases, SQL and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of data engineering principles, architectures and best practices
