Job Title : Data Architect
ROLE PURPOSE :
Data Architect leads the design of data assets, data repositories, data lakes, databases,
assessment and modelling with a focus on enterprise data deliverables. The Data Architect
identifies the best approach for accessing various data sources for the most efficient and
productive use within JDT and the Bank. The data architect is responsible for the conceptual
and physical strategies for data acquisition, integration and analysis, and they devise
strategies to integrate new technologies into an infrastructure that supports the digital
strategy of the Bank.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Develop data models and related architecture to provide analytical data at the appropriate level of detail in a manner that is efficient and based on the key business requirements of the Bank's stakeholders.
Review control and master data across multiple source applications and shadow systems to identify an approach to align attributes in a consistent manner that supports data repositories that can be leveraged by data retrieval methods
Design the architecture that supports peak data usage performance and efficient data retrieval.
Lead the development of a data architecture that accommodates current business requirements while offering a solution that is robust and scalable to accommodate future Bank requirements and data growth and data usage.
Assist with development and implementation of the long-term data governance strategy and work with the business departments to support the overall drive within BNM for the extensive use of data analytics.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE :
Academic qualifications: Degree or professional qualification in Science, IT or Economics.
Strong knowledge data quality, master data management, data governance, ETL tools.
10 years of experience as a lead data modeller and developing, validating and maintaining logical & physical data models
Strong experience in EDW and BI
