About the Role:
As a CBRE Data Center Sr Engineer, you will perform advanced preventative maintenance and complex corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. You will also provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
What You'll Do:
- Manage daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
- Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
- React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed.
- Document and report to management.
- Assist staff with difficult planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
- Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to high-priority HVAC-related client problems.
- Review and approve meter readings from UPS, PDU, and utilities to ensure accurate information is being documented.
- Subject mater expert on Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting.
- Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures.
- Follow all safety processes and requirements and confirm all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.
- Ensure that ACOP's applicable to the maintenance industry procedures.
- Conduct complex quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.
- Develop and implement work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment.
- Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor Degree Preferred, or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
