Data Center Network/ Infra Core Specialist

• Responsible to manage Core IP Infra connectivity setup to external network towards IPX/GRX provider, Network data centres, Internet DNS and Transparent Cache. This should cover overall network design to support traffic routing to IPX/GRX provider network align with business requirements.
• Capacity management. Manage and ensure healthy network utilization to support growth for all lines of business. Timely network build and expansion to ensure no network congestion and no interruption to customers and services offered throughout the year
• Budget Management: CAPEX and OPEX forecast and subsequently optimising and managing related to IP Transit and IX Peering initiatives
• IP Infra expansion rollout strategy. Key initiatives - Data Centres, Carrier grade DNS, Edge Routers, and Transparent cache.
• Accountable for network design, deployment, optimisation of internet routing from quality, security and cost perspective.
• Ensure good network quality to support business growth and good customer experience via routine network performance assessment and optimization.
• Accountable for troubleshooting on network faults related to failures in the areas of accountability listed above.
• Process Enhancement. Participate in improving existing processes by providing constructive feedback and assist to draft new process flows.
