Job Description

Monitor the 24 x 7 operations of the Bank's Data Centres and server rooms facility to ensure smooth operations and in meeting
the agreed service level
Identify the enhancement of Data Centre capabilities through the implementation of proven technologies and adaptive
infrastructure for improved business outcomes
Align and improve of IT service management processes and service levels to proactively support and meet changing business
Refine continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and services resiliency to ensure business continuity, high availability and
performance of Bank's critical services
Propose automated provisioning tools to improve Data Centre resource assignment, infrastructure modification, and service
activation processes
Improve management tools and processes by addressing resources used to plan, manage and improve infrastructure service
delivery from project-based tools and information to standard, integrated tools / processes and information collection for end-toend management aligned to the business
Employ best practices and practical combination of standards-based solutions for systems & facilities management to ensure
the operational integrity, security, and optimal performance of all Data Centre components
Develop and refine risk management tools, policy, methodologies, processes and; frameworks to strengthen risk management
and business continuity culture in the Bank.
Conduct continuous environmental scanning to detect, escalate and propose solutions on emerging and current risks for
escalation to management.

Academic Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Experience: Data centre facility management and server administration and services. Knowledge in network administration and support. At
least 2 years working experience in server administration for platforms such as Windows 2003/2008 Servers and Redhat Linux, Enterprise class
servers, NAS or SAN devices or Business Continuity Management
Ensure data centre services availability and continuity to support
business process efficiency, continuity and information
accessibility and visibility.
Ability to engage with stakeholders to understand their needs,
analyse and identify the right IT solution that meets the business
requirements and expectations.
Ability to participate in IT project implementation as a subject
matter expert and to work with vendors and IT application teams
to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
Ability to identify emerging risk or significant issues fortimely
reporting to Management.
Good in vendor management and incident / change management
Good in handling IT services as had experience in managing
data centre facilities.

to meet the business demand and priorities in secured
To keep abreast with up-to-date technology advances and to
enhance necessary skills for effective and efficient service
To manage stringent service level agreements for mission-critical
business services or applications.
