Job Description

• Oversee the development and implementation of the company's ship management Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems.
• Keep the General Manager informed about the status of HSEQ matters within the Malaysian office.
• Monitor operational statistics and ensure compliance with flag state and company requirements.
• Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team and conduct incident investigations when required.
• Participate in document review committees and assist with tender processes and HR-related issues.
• Liaise with the Company Security Officer for ship security matters.
• Supervise and lead the Marine assurance processes for gas vessels.
• Provide support for marine and operational matters
• Arrange vetting inspections for LNG/LPG vessels and maintain approvals.
• Maintain a database of vetting deficiencies and generate reports.
• Conduct pre-vetting inspections and train ship staff as needed.
• Provide support for marine and operational matters related to LNG/LPG vessels.
• Maintain and improve operation manuals for tankers and gas carriers.
