Lead and oversee the company's Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) and Certificate of Origin (COO) compliance, ensuring full alignment with Royal Malaysian Customs and MITI requirements.
Manage end-to-end import & export customs operations, ensuring smooth clearance and regulatory compliance across all shipments.
Oversee preparation, submission, and renewal of A1/A2/A3 applications with the relevant authorities.
Supervise M1/M2/LF reporting to ensure accurate and timely submission in accordance with customs regulations.
Manage compliance with MAQIS and other government agency (OGA) requirements relevant to the company's import/export activities.
Liaise with customs authorities and act as the point of contact for clearance matters at Westport, Northport, and KLIA.
Lead, guide, and develop a team of logistics/customs executives, ensuring process consistency and regulatory compliance.
Drive continuous improvement of logistics and customs processes, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
Support audits and inspections by customs and other regulatory authorities.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) and COO / MITI processes.
Strong hands-on experience in import & export customs operations.
Experience handling A1/A2/A3 applications.
Experience with M1/M2/LF reporting.
Familiarity with MAQIS and other government agency (OGA) requirements.
Experience liaising with Westport, Northport, and/or KLIA customs.
Prior experience leading or supervising a logistics/customs team is preferred.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with customs authorities and internal departments.
