The Role
We're seeking a junior Dot Net Developer to join a 12-month contract engagement supporting critical systems within the finance sector. This is a great opportunity for a developer with a solid foundation in C# and .NET Core to grow your skills, work on impactful projects, and gain valuable domain exposure in a fast-paced, professional environment.
What You'll Do
• Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET Core
• Build and enhance front-end interfaces using ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Design and implement APIs and microservices to support business systems
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server to manage and optimise data
• Support and maintain critical systems, ensuring stability and performance
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams, using Git and CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery
• Participate in deployment processes and ongoing system improvements
What We're Looking For
• At least 2 years of experience as a .NET Developer
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Experience with API and microservices development
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
• Insurance domain knowledge or experience supporting critical systems is highly advantageous
