Engineer, Test Manufacturing - Kulim

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the transition of new products and processes from engineering to manufacturing and the supply chain.
2. Responsible for all manufacturing test related issues, FCT/SYST/ESS etc.
3. Knowledge in operation LINUX base operating system environment.
4. Responsible for all manufacturing Test equipment and fixtures setup, maintenance, calibration, evaluation and troubleshooting
5. Responsible for Customer product test method, evaluation, enhancement and RMA test failure analysis.
6. This position will work closely with product engineering to define manufacturing requirements within the New Product Development process.
7. Manage test yield, up time performance and capacity analysis for all test processes.
8. Work with the CFT team to improve test yield/quality issues and root cause analysis.
9. Work with Customer to address any test related issues/request/improvement.
10. Work with supplier/developer on test hardware/software development or improvement.
11. Assist Test Technician in developing testers operation, maintenance and troubleshooting skill sets.
12. Assist Debug Technician in developing product debugging methods and skillsets.
13. Manage debug Work In Progress (WIP) inventories at minimal level

Job Requirements

1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 7 year(s) of working experience in PCBA/Box System manufacturing or Test Engineering, preferable from EMS background.
3. Familiar with test method and understanding of the test program at Functional Test are.
4. Familiar with ESS/HASS chamber and capable of creating a test profile, test fixture/rack based on customer test specification.
5. Experience in analog and digital circuit theory, statistical analysis tools. Capable of performing failure analysis at system level down to device electronics boards.
6. Knowledge of operating the basic test instruments (such as digital oscilloscope, LCR meter, spectrum analyzers etc.)
7. Capable of learning and understanding from Customer Test documentation, Schematic, Drawing, CAD file, component datasheets etc.
