The impact you'll make
Joining our team is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of business process transformation and provide essential analytical and technical support to the Regional Business Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams. You will contribute to projects that drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement in our operations.
What You'll Do
- Learn the responsibilities of an engineer.
- Assist Engineering Engineer on day-to-day deliverables.
- Fulfill administrative duties around the office.
- Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work.
- Complete at least one engineering based project at the end of internship duration
Who We're Looking For
- A proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for engineering and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Internship period starting from April/May (preferably 6 months internship program)
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Exposure to CAD software or engineering design tools is a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
