Job Summary
- Responsible for supporting and monitoring cloud and production operations, including batch processing, backup management, and incident resolution in a 24/7 shift environment; The role also supports IT projects, system operations, and compliance with IT security and operational standards.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT Operations / Cloud Operations;
- Hands-on experience in AS/400, Control-M, AWS Cloud, and Microsoft Azure;
- Experience in batch processing, system monitoring, and backup management;
- Knowledge of IT operational procedures, incident handling, and production support;
- Able to work 24/7 rotational 12-hour shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Desired Skill-set
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification;
- Experience supporting Life Asia systems and media management;
- Knowledge of IT Risk & Security compliance practices;
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure operations and monitoring tools;
- Japanese language proficiency is an added advantage;
- Experience coordinating with vendors and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate cloud and production environments in compliance with SOPs and policies;
- Handle overnight/weekend batch processing and resolve operational issues;
- Perform backup management, daily health checks, and system monitoring activities;
- Support ad-hoc operational requests and incident management activities;
- Assess operational risks and impacts related to infrastructure or system changes;
- Coordinate and support IT project implementation and production activities;
- Ensure timely communication and escalation during incidents;
- Support AWS Cloud, Control-M, Media Management, and Life Asia systems;
- Maintain SLA compliance and adhere to IT Risk & Security policies;
- Manage shift operations, productivity, and task allocation during assigned shifts.
