ERP Functional Consultant (Finance)

What You Will Be Doing:
- Gather and Analyse Financial Requirements: Work closely with finance users to understand accounting processes, reporting requirements, month-end closing activities, and identify opportunities to improve business processes through ERP solutions.
- Design and Configure Finance Solutions: Configure and support ERP Finance modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
- System Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the configured ERP system meets specifications and performs as expected.
- Training and Support: Conduct user training sessions and prepare documentation to enable effective system usage. Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with technical consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.
- Problem Solving: Identify, analyse, and resolve functional issues, providing practical and creative solutions to business challenges.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience as an ERP Functional Consultant (Finance), Finance System Analyst, or Accountant with hands-on ERP implementation, support, or key-user experience.
- Accounting Background: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience using or supporting ERP Finance modules such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor, AutoCount, SQL Account, or other accounting/ERP systems.
- Accounting Knowledge: Good understanding of financial accounting principles, month-end/year-end closing, financial reporting, AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and banking processes.
- Business Analysis Skills: Ability to gather business requirements, analyse business processes, and recommend practical ERP solutions.
- Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively with finance users, consultants, and technical teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot business and system issues.
- Advantage: Experience participating in ERP implementation, migration, or digital transformation projects is an added advantage.
