Job Objectives
To coordinate and implement ASEM's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives by ensuring compliance with applicable sustainability regulations and reporting requirements by corporate and stakeholders.
Job Description
- Establish & Lead ESG Committee and Sustainability Working groups
- Acts as the main contact person on the response to ASE Corporate's ESG questionnaires and sustainability report request.
- Liaise with ASE Corporate Sustainable team on the interpretation of each questionnaire/request. Ensure interpretation and expectations are clearly disseminated to all relevant departments.
- Coordinate ESG data collection across all business functions, including Operations, NPI, Finance, Human Resources, EHS, Procurement & Facilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable sustainability reporting standards including IFRS S1 & IFRS S2. Collaborate with Risk Management function to integrate ESG and climate-related risks into the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Facilitate Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) reporting and project execution aligning with ISO 14067 and GHG Protocol Standards.
- Coordinate ESG-related employee wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, community engagement and social responsibility initiatives
- Support the strengthening of corporate governance practices including anti-bribery and corruption, ethics, whistleblowing, and code of conduct frameworks, human rights, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA)
- Support the site's community engagement and social impact initiatives including: employee volunteerism, CSR programs and stakeholder engagement activities
- Track ESG related project progress, timelines, costs and key milestones
- Support ESG reporting, audits, certifications and compliance activities
- Work with Procurement and Operations to improve supplier ESG performance
- Prepare reports and updates for management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Sustainability, Engineering, Business or other related fields
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in the area of ESG Management & Sustainability, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of ESG regulations, standards and best practices.
- Able to work independently with good interpersonal skills
