Actively solicit new business opportunities and existing client base by conducting effective sales calls, make out of the office sales calls, and presentations to potential clients.
Developing good working relationships with event organizers at local. companies in order to get meetings, annual dinners, functions bookings, e.t.c for the purpose of boosting company profits.
Liaising with clients from the beginning to the end, and also attending the event to ensure that it goes smoothly.
Evaluating and critically analyzing all events following their delivery, including seeking customer feedback.
Negotiating contracts and prices with clients.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure client needs are met.
Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase event bookings.
Research and monitor key market trends and recommend corresponding action.
Tracking sales data and maintaining accurate records.
Managing client queries and resolving any logistical issues.
Overseeing the event planning, organization, and production process.
Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Participating in promotional activities and trade shows to market events.
Ensuring all events comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Degree in Sales & Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing or equivalent
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in event management/ banquet sales.
Experience in coordinating lease management system.
Possess good network of tenants and contacts
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Possess positive disposition and resourcefulness and a team player
Ability to multi-task and an eye for details
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
