Summary

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Event Service Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of events and functions, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. The Event Service Managers responsibilities include understanding the event requirements through the sales team, coordinating with various hotel departments, managing event staff, maintaining quality standards, and maximizing revenue. The Event Service Manager is expected to be on board in August 2024.

Qualifications

  • Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
  • Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management.
  • Work experience as an Event Service Manager, Banquet Manager or Assistant Manager - Event Service in the hotel industry is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food & beverage operations, including menu planning, wine selection, and culinary trends to ensure maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, and maximizing profitability while delivering high-quality event experiences.
  • Good leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational and time management skills are essential.
