To review, advise and negotiate contracts that relate to the daily business of the company
Conduct legal research and keep abreast of new laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its businesses and advise the management on any potential legal issues/risks arising therefrom.
Review, recommend and/or develop policies, procedures or guidelines for the Company and/or its respective business units to ensure compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
Liaise with external law firms, consultants and regulators if need be.
Provide training to staff on legal, compliance and corporate governance related matters.
Performing regular internal audits to ensure the group of companies are in compliance with laws and regulations.
Providing confidential personal assistance to the Directors, including composing and preparing correspondences, reports, and memorandums.
Maintaining strict confidentiality, and interacting professionally with all levels of management, staff, clients, government departments, and business associates.
Managing projects, meetings schedules, correspondences, reports, call screening, travel arrangements, and handling private and confidential matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Complete a bachelor degree in business, law, legal management, public administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in legal, risk management or compliance roles.
Superior attention to detail to identify and correct risky practices.
Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both in speaking and in writing.
Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from team members.
Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies.
Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines.
Preferable mandarin speaking candidate as liaison with mandarin speaking customers.
