Position Title: Export Business Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Overseas Market Development: Identify and develop new overseas business opportunities through B2B platforms, trade exhibitions, customs data, and digital channels. Establish and maintain relationships with international distributors, dealers, and business partners across target markets such as Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
- Business Development & Sales Negotiation: Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and conclude export sales contracts with overseas customers. Ensure all business negotiations comply with company policies and international trade practices.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with overseas customers by providing timely support, resolving enquiries, handling complaints, and coordinating after-sales services to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Export Order Management: Manage the complete export order process from order confirmation to vehicle delivery. Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure vehicle availability, pre-delivery inspection (PDI), quality checks, and timely order fulfilment.
- Export Documentation & Customs Compliance: Prepare and verify export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export permits, and other shipping documents. Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Logistics & Shipment Coordination: Arrange international shipments via Ro-Ro vessels or container transportation, coordinate inland logistics, monitor shipment progress, and ensure timely delivery to overseas customers.
- Financial Coordination: Monitor customer payments through various international payment methods (e.g., T/T, Letter of Credit), coordinate with the Finance Department on payment reconciliation, export tax refund documentation, and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
- Trade Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure export activities comply with international trade regulations, import requirements, customs procedures, and certification standards of destination countries. Identify potential trade risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Planning, and other internal departments to ensure efficient execution of export operations and customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor global automotive market trends, competitor activities, import regulations, and customer demands. Provide market insights and recommendations to support export business growth and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or above in International Business, International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in export business, international trade, or automotive export operations. Experience in complete vehicle (CBU) or automotive parts export will be an added advantage.
- International Trade Knowledge: Strong understanding of international trade practices, Incoterms, export documentation, customs clearance procedures, shipping arrangements, and international payment methods such as T/T and Letter of Credit (L/C).
- Automotive Knowledge: Good understanding of passenger vehicle specifications, vehicle configurations, emission standards, and international automotive market requirements.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs requirements, import certification standards (e.g., GCC, EAC, or equivalent), and export compliance processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English with strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage to liaise with headquarters and international business partners.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve operational and commercial issues efficiently.
