Job Description

This role will be a blend of client-facing activities with technical tasks, with the FAE becoming the go-to person for new and existing IoT customers seeking in-depth technical product expertise. This would be done in parallel to supporting the Sales Manager for customers in both pre-sales and post-sales environments. Flexibility to travel to customer sites

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with IoT customers and prospects and provide them with technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Support the Sales Manager and Engineers in identifying the most appropriate solutions for customers after analysing their requirements.
  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and provide useful market insights to the business.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information System, or relevant field experience.
  • Knowledge of embedded software development
  • A good understanding of embedded systems, RF Technology and power supply design
  • Relevant work experience in a sales engineering role, or other technical support role
  • A customer driven attitude, you understand what growing customer value is
  • Experience with web APIs will be a plus
  • Understanding of IoT/Industry 4.0 and/or safety-critical software development will be a plus
  • Property development and property management relevant experience will be a plus
