We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our finance team in day-to-day operations. This role involves assisting with accounts receivable tasks, preparing invoices and financial reports, managing debtor follow-ups, and supporting SST preparation. This internship offers hands-on experience in finance operations, with opportunities to contribute to real projects and grow in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day AR, AP and Bank Reconciliation functions.
- Preparation and generation of sales invoices and debit/credit notes.
- Generating debtor's account statements and follow-up with debtors on overdue accounts.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reports.
- Update costing sheet and vendor payments promptly.
- Responsible for preparation of Sales and Services Tax (SST).
- Provide support for general finance-related administrative tasks.
- Assist in ad-hoc finance projects or research as assigned.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be comfortable using Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive go-getter with a growth mindset, eager to take on challenges and contribute to team success.
