Job Title: Financial Business Partner
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)
About The Role
We are hiring a
Financial Business Partner to support the ASEAN business within BSI, working closely with the Senior APAC FP&A Manager, Corporate Finance, and key business stakeholders.
This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality financial insight, supporting strategic planning, and enabling informed decision-making across the region. You will combine strong FP&A capability with commercial awareness, helping the business understand performance, risks, and opportunities while improving the quality and impact of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver financial planning and analysis for the ASEAN region, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic and commercial initiatives.
- Monitor performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities with clear, actionable insight.
- Partner with APAC FP&A teams to improve data quality, consistency, and reporting standards.
- Prepare management reporting and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial information.
- Identify risks and opportunities and propose mitigation actions or improvement ideas.
- Provide ongoing support to Finance Business Partners and senior finance leaders.
To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have
- 5+ years experience in FP&A, business analysis, or management accounting, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel modelling skills.
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting for multiple countries or business units.
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear business insight.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders.
- Experience using or learning finance systems and tools such as Hyperion (EPM), Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Business-level English (written and spoken).
