Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations considering the relevance and compliance with accounting standards, corporate governance and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
2. Lead & manage the management reporting, statutory financial reporting and corporate financial reporting in compliance with MFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and statutory regulations.
3. Manage the budgeting and forecasting activities with various stakeholders to meet organization goals.
4. Ensure compliance with tax requirements and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory authorities.
5. Establish and maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies and financial processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
6. Monitor business performance, analyse financial results and provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to management.
7. Lead, coach and develop the finance team while driving continuous process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
8. Undertake other finance and accounting responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Management or Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements

:

1. Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2. Profession accounting qualification such as CIMA, CGMA, ACCA, CPA Australia or MIA is preferred.
3. Minimum 8-10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
4. At least 3-5 years in a managerial position.
5. Experience in a Malaysian Public Listed Company is highly preferred.
6. Experience in agriculture, plantation or manufacturing is an advantage.
