Job Summary:

The role is responsible for managing daily finance operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

The successful candidate will supervise team performance, ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, collaborate with regional and business stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Key Tasks

• Lead and supervise the finance operations team to ensure efficient daily operations and

achievement of KPIs/SLA.

• Manage finance processes including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General

Ledger (GL), reconciliations, and month-end closing activities

• Review and ensure accuracy of financial transactions, accounting entries, and reporting

deliverables.

• Coordinate with regional/local finance teams and business stakeholders to resolve operational

issues.

• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support team development.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, company policies, and audit

requirements.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation/system enhancement

initiatives.

• Drive standardisation of finance processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Support financial reporting, audit activities, and continuous improvement projects.

Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics or related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in leading or supervising a finance team.

• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to multitasks and work independently with minimum supervision.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with regional stakeholders.

• Required to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders from overseas, proficient in Mandarin will

be beneficial.
