About the Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting financial planning activities, and providing actionable insights to support business and project-related decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, high accuracy, and a solid understanding of financial, accounting, and quantitative principles.

You will work closely with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, project financial tracking, and month-end processes in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to month-end closing and full set of accounts considered an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong accounting knowledge with good organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy; able to work efficiently under tight timelines.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience using accounting software is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project cost structures, pricing assumptions, and financial feasibility to support budgeting and commercial decisions.
• Prepare project budgets and financial forecasts based on project scope, resource plans, and historical performance data.
• Monitor actual project performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and potential financial risks.
• Provide financial insights, analysis, and reports to management to support planning, prioritization, and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project-related financial records with proper documentation.
• Support invoicing, cost tracking, and payment follow-ups related to project activities.
• Assist with month-end closing by ensuring project-related figures are complete, accurate, and properly reconciled.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (e.g. auditors, tax agents, bankers) on finance or project-related matters when required.
• Leverage AI and GPT-based tools to enhance financial analysis, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc financial, analytical, or operational tasks as assigned.
