Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the Global Transportation rate cards
    • Reflect and maintain the most up to date information on lane specifications and providers used on each lane. Implement leakage controls and reporting deviations from rate card.
    • Create new lanes / decommission discontinued lanes in the global freight database.
    • Automate the Rate Card Management Process by leveraging existing or new proposed tools
    • Communicate updated rate cards to FP&A external partners and internal stakeholders
  • New carrier account creations
    • Ensure timely creation of all new global carrier accounts to support RFQ implementations
    • Liaise with regional stakeholders to support onboarding of Freight Audit and Pay processes
  • Spot quote support :
    • Approve spot quotes in Keelvar globally to award the best carrier according to service and rates
    • Assist on the Keelvar administration (System updates, account creation)
  • Invoice Approvals
    • Approve invoices for out of rate card shipments (LCL, spot, etc.)
    • Assist the North America Regional Team on international transportation invoice approvals - To be confirmed
  • Assist the Global Transportation team in the approval of equipment moves across the globe
    • Coordinate this activity and suggest cost optimization opportunities

Position Requirements

To excel in this role, the Global Transportation Coordinator should have a proven track record in transportation and logistics, along with a strong ability to connect and interpret transportation data globally and identify dependencies in the data sets.

  • A Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in international transportation or shipping roles.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with regional teams and external partners.
  • The ability to analyze and organize data to propose automation opportunities
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel & Power BI is required. Python and Javascript are a plus.
  • Ability to carry out short to long term initiatives and meet firm deadlines.
  • Operates with a constructive mindset under pressure and meets expectations with quality work.
