We are seeking a fresher hardware Engineer for the design and development of cutting-edge electronic circuits and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout, with expertise in using modern design tools like Altium Designer, KiCAD, and LTSpice. This role is critical for driving innovative hardware solutions and ensuring the seamless integration of electronic components.
Key Responsibilities:● Design and develop complex analog and digital circuits for various applications.
● Perform detailed component selection and schematic capture using Altium Designer or KiCAD.
● Optimize circuit designs for performance, power efficiency, and reliability.
Simulation and Analysis● Conduct detailed simulations of analog and digital circuits using LTSpice or equivalent tools.
● Analyze simulation results to validate designs and refine performance.
PCB Design and Layout● Collaborate with PCB designers to create optimized layouts for high-performance and manufacturability.
● Ensure designs adhere to best practices for signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management.
Prototyping and Testing● Lead the prototyping of circuit designs, including board assembly and testing.
● Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues to ensure functionality and reliability.
● Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi meters for validation.
Documentation and Collaboration● Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for circuit designs, including schematics, simulations, and test reports.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and system engineers, to ensure seamless integration.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement● Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in circuit design and electronic components.
● Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies and processes.
Requirements● Proficiency in Altium Designer or KiCAD for schematic capture and PCB layout.
● Expertise in circuit simulation using LTSpice or equivalent tools.
Analog and Digital Design● Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
● Knowledge of power supply design, signal conditioning, and mixed-signal interfaces.
Testing and Debugging● Hands-on experience with hardware testing and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
● Ability to identify and resolve hardware issues effectively.
System Integration● Experience in designing circuits for seamless integration with software and mechanical systems.
● Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
Project Management and Collaboration● Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
● Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:● Experience with high-speed PCB design.
● Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance and mitigation techniques.
● Familiarity with low-power circuit design for battery-operated devices.
