To lead this journey, we're looking for an exceptional AI Transformation Officer to join our growing Malaysian team. This isn't a traditional technology role. It's an opportunity to shape the future of our agency while helping our clients embrace AI within their own organisations.

About the Role

As our AI Transformation Officer, you'll become one of the most influential people within McKenzie Partners.

Your role will be to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, creativity, collaboration and client outcomes. You'll work closely with every department, helping redesign workflows, automate repetitive tasks, implement new AI platforms and ensure our team is operating at the forefront of modern agency practices. You'll also play an important client-facing role, supporting businesses as they begin their own AI transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Transformation
• Lead McKenzie Partners transition to becoming a fully AI-native agency.
• Research and implement emerging AI technologies.
• Build AI workflows and automation across all departments.
• Develop AI agents and internal productivity tools.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation.
• Integrate AI into creative, media, strategy and account management processes.
• Document best practice and establish AI standards across the agency.
• Train and mentor staff in the practical use of AI.
• Measure productivity improvements and identify ongoing opportunities.

Client Transformation

• Assist clients in developing AI strategies for their businesses.
• Run AI discovery workshops and education sessions.
• Recommend practical AI solutions that improve business performance.
• Build AI-powered workflows for clients where appropriate.
• Support our Account Directors with AI consulting opportunities.
• Help create new AI consulting products and services offered by McKenzie Partners.

What You'll Bring

We're less interested in formal qualifications and more interested in curiosity, innovation and execution.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other Large Language Models
• AI workflow automation platforms
• Prompt engineering
• AI agents
• Process automation
• API integrations
• Business process improvement
• Project management
• Digital transformation
• Experience using tools such as Zapier, Monday AI, Make, n8n, Microsoft Copilot, Notion AI or similar platforms would be highly regarded.
