As our client's business continues to scale its technology platform and expand its product capabilities, they are looking for a senior technology leader to build and evolve a secure, scalable and highly resilient cloud infrastructure environment.
The Role
As the Head of Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering, you will own the cloud and infrastructure strategy while leading a team of cloud infrastructure engineers and architects. You'll combine technical architecture, hands-on engineering leadership and people management to drive cloud modernisation, platform reliability and operational excellence.
What You Do.
- Lead cloud infrastructure strategy and architecture across AWS and OCI. Design scalable, highly available and secure cloud environments, including networking, Kubernetes, compute, storage and databases
- Establish IaC and automation standards using Terraform, CloudFormation and GitOps
- Drive cloud security, infrastructure governance, observability, disaster recovery and operational resilience
- Lead Kubernetes/container platform architecture and application deployment environments
- Build, mentor and grow a high-performing infrastructure and platform engineering team
- Manage cloud vendors, budgets and infrastructure cost optimisation
- Partner with Engineering, Security, Data and Product teams on technology strategy and transformation
- Explore AI-ready infrastructure and emerging cloud-native technologies
What You Bring.- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering or infrastructure architecture and 3+ years of managing teams
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking or other regulated environments is highly advantageous
- Strong AWS experience, particularly EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53 and CloudWatch
- Strong Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform experience
- Solid expertise in cloud security, networking, resilience and infrastructure architecture
- Experience with multi-cloud environments; AWS + OCI is a strong plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with professional fluency in English and Mandarin
