KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering Delivery Leadership
- Lead software development teams across multiple projects.
- Ensure successful delivery of products, platforms, and customer implementations.
- Own engineering roadmaps and release schedules.
- Remove delivery bottlenecks and resolve escalations.
- Establish predictable delivery practices.
People Management
- Build and lead engineering teams.
- Manage hiring and workforce planning.
- Conduct performance reviews and career development.
- Develop future engineering leaders.
- Improve employee engagement and retention.
Technology Operations
- Oversee DevOps and engineering operations.
- Improve deployment automation.
- Maintain platform stability and reliability.
- Establish engineering standards and governance.
Quality Assurance
- Implement engineering quality frameworks.
- Define testing and release standards.
- Drive security and compliance practices.
- Reduce technical debt.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Delivery Managers, Architects, Product Owners, and Business Leaders.
- Translate business priorities into engineering execution plans.
- Provide regular delivery updates to the CTO and executive management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 12-15 years in software engineering.
- Minimum 5 years managing engineering teams.
- Experience leading teams of 30+ engineers.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale systems.
- Experience managing cloud platforms and modern DevOps environments.
