As the business continues to strengthen its operations and finance capabilities in Malaysia, they are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the country's finance function and partner closely with the C-level in driving transformation and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Executive Committee to drive the financial strategy, operational performance and long-term growth of the business, serving as a trusted commercial advisor.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance function, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee financial reporting, group consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and cash management, ensuring timely, accurate and insightful financial information.
- Strengthen the finance control environment by enhancing internal controls, governance frameworks, risk management and regulatory compliance, while leading statutory reporting and audit activities.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives, including finance systems implementation, process optimisation, operating model improvements and shared services migration where applicable.
- Drive cross-functional business partnering with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insights and constructively challenging budgets, forecasts and business performance to support strategic decision-making.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading a finance function, with strong expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, financial controls and governance.
- Demonstrated success in finance transformation, including finance systems implementation, process optimisation, operating model enhancement or shared services migration.
- Strong commercial business partnering skills, with the confidence and credibility to challenge, influence and advise the CEO and senior leadership team on budgets, financial performance and strategic decision-making.
- A hands-on leader with a structured, analytical and continuous improvement mindset, capable of building scalable finance processes and high-performing teams.
- Experience within financial services would be ideal.
