Salary: RM10,000 – RM13,000 (negotiable based on experience)

We are currently sourcing an experienced Head of Services & Facilities cum Chargeman B0 on behalf of an established dairy manufacturing company based in Sendayan TechValley, Seremban.

This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for plant utilities, facilities engineering, electrical systems, regulatory compliance and maintenance operations within a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operation and maintenance of water treatment, wastewater treatment, air compressors, refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, industrial gases and firefighting systems

• Ensure stable and reliable power supply to the plant, including backup generators and associated electrical infrastructure

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of plant utilities and facility equipment

• Respond effectively to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production operations

• Manage factory building maintenance to support food safety, hygiene and pest-control requirements

• Monitor electricity, gas and water consumption and implement energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives

• Supervise external contractors and service providers for major maintenance works and facility expansion

• Lead the facilities team, assign responsibilities and monitor departmental KPIs

• Participate in ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 internal and external audits

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health, environmental and statutory requirements

• Maintain facility engineering SOPs, maintenance schedules and management reports

• Liaise with TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other relevant authorities

Chargeman Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on LV and 11kV electrical installations and distribution systems

• Inspect switchboards, circuit breakers, feeder pillars, generator sets and related electrical equipment

• Maintain the Chargeman Daily Logbook and ensure electrical systems are safe and compliant

• Coordinate preventive and corrective electrical maintenance activities

• Ensure timely renewal and compliance of the required Chargeman competency certification.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering field

• Valid Chargeman B0 11kV competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga is required

• Minimum 5–7 years of facilities maintenance experience

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position within a food manufacturing plant

• Strong knowledge of ammonia/freon refrigeration systems, boilers, water treatment and industrial HVAC systems

• Good knowledge of plant electrical distribution, utilities and facility maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities

• Experience preparing maintenance reports, schedules and departmental KPIs

• Able to manage emergency breakdowns and operate effectively under pressure

• Good written and spoken English

• Familiarity with maintenance management systems
