HR Manager - Malaysia
The Incumbent will be responsible for drivingstrategic HR initiatives that support business objectives includingorganization effectiveness, change management, talent management (assessment,acquisition, development and redeployment) and Employee Relationship &Stakeholder Management (communications, employee relations, facilitate rewardand recognition measures, employee involvement, employee confidant). He/shewill also be responsible for developing strong levels of partnership with Local& Regional Leadership team in order to implement HR & Businessstrategies forms an integral part of the role.

In addition to the above, this role will also be responsible for leading corporate and local HR projects / programs / initiatives at the country level and drive the strategic agenda for the business and ensure alignment of global frameworks with Honeywell Global HR agenda.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Strategic Thinking
.Drive HR strategies and interventions in line with business's strategic long-term plans (STRAP) and short-term Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
.Partner and influence business leadership team to identify and develop organizational development and talent management strategies identify gaps and plan processes at various levels to ensure alignment of business to effective people solutions
.Drive alignment across entities to ensure consistent application of processes/ programs and principles
Change Management Initiatives
.Be the catalyst of change that keeps the business future ready through
oinitiatives that improve the bottom-line including better quality and capabilities
oinitiatives that assists in building a lean & productive organization (Structure changes / HOS initiatives)
oinitiatives that result in cost optimization
oAlignment HC with productivity metrics
.Drive action plans based on feedback received from stakeholders through engagement surveys and Voice of Customer Survey
.Drive new policies, processes and procedures quickly and efficiently and provide the necessary transition and integration support
Talent Management
.Partner and influence business leaders to drive a performance-oriented work culture
.Reward and recognize key performers, address those with performance shortfalls and ensure effective partnering with C&B CoE and Business accordingly
.Identify high performing individuals and develop career plans for them in consultation with Business Heads
.Develop solutions on key people levers of retention and morale
.Build sales capability & competency - Talent / skill development for frontline feet-on-street, early stage engineers, and first time managers
.Develop leadership capability through coaching and mentoring & enabling Supervisors to be effective People Managers
.Drive the organizational development agenda ensure delivery of comprehensive learning & development programs through effective partnering with OD&L CoE
Functional Excellence
.Ensure all hiring is completed as the defined Manpower Budgets for the business. Monitor and track the progress on quarterly basis
.Review HR analytics/ surveys and plan and implement various HR frameworks along with the Business Leadership team
.Implement systematic internal communication programs to encourage open and transparent communication
.Improve employee engagement through initiatives like Town Halls, Executive messages
.Support workforce planning including succession planning and Management resource review (MRR) across locations
.Promote and monitor the implementation of HR policies and practices that will enable the business to attract and retain talent at all levels and comply with relevant employment laws and guidelines
.Lead initiatives and work with Centers of Excellence (CoE) / shared services to improve end to end HR delivery
.Build accurate and up-to-date HR management information to drive business performance
.Maintain a robust HR governance framework
People Advocacy
.Being a positive role model for employees and the ability to communicate and influence Hon values & behaviors across the business
.Responsible for collaborating with different parts of the organization within and outside the geography
.Act as a primary interface between Management and team members
.Guide the team in taking the right decision especially in case of conflict situations
Labor Compliance & adherence with local statutory laws
YOU MUST HAVE
.Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Law and/or other relevant fields
.6-8 years working experience in HR Generalist space , preferably in an MNC
