Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Operations Executive with strong Employee Relations experience. The primary focus of this role is to independently manage employee relations matters, including workplace conflicts, disciplinary issues and disciplinary actions, while providing practical HR advice to management on labour law and employment-related matters.
In addition to Employee Relations, this role will support day-to-day HR Operations, including onboarding, offboarding, leave and attendance management, basic IT setup for new joiners, employee activities and office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage Employee Relations matters, including internal employee conflicts, complaints, workplace concerns and other employee-related issues.
- Handle disciplinary matters and disciplinary actions, including investigations, fact-finding, documentation, communication and follow-up.
- Provide HR advice to management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, labour law and Employment Act requirements.
- Ensure employee relations and disciplinary processes are handled fairly, consistently and in compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and internal coordination.
- Manage employee leave and attendance administration and maintain accurate employee records.
- Coordinate basic IT setup for new joiners, including user accounts, equipment and system access.
- Organize employee engagement activities such as team-building events, year-end/New Year gatherings and seasonal employee gifts.
- Manage day-to-day office administration and support other HR projects as required.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations and/or Employee Relations.
- Hands-on experience in Employee Relations, disciplinary issues, disciplinary actions and handling internal employee conflicts is essential.
- Strong understanding of disciplinary processes, with the ability to independently conduct investigations, communicate with employees and management, maintain documentation and follow through on actions.
- Good knowledge of labour law and Employment Act, with the ability to provide practical HR advice to management.
- Strong judgment, communication and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally and confidentially.
- Experience in HR Operations, including onboarding, offboarding, leave and attendance management.
- Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin, both written and spoken.
