Minimum 10 years of offshore drilling rig experience gained within the last 15 years, including at least 5 years of dedicated experience in independent third-party rig HSE inspections and safety management system auditing.
Previous experience serving as a Safety Officer or HSE Advisor on offshore drilling units.
Possession of a valid, internationally recognized health, safety, and environment certification, such as NEBOSH or an equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in conducting Dropped Object Prevention Scheme (DROPS) surveys and HSE Management System (MS) audits.
Strong understanding of offshore HSE regulations, industry standards, risk management principles, and safety compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to assess and audit HSE performance, identify safety gaps, and recommend corrective actions to improve operational safety and compliance.
Must be Malaysian and willing to be based in the East Coast of Malaysia
