WE'RE HIRING: HYDRAULIC EXTRUSION SPECIALIST
Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
Salary: RM8,000 per month
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Extrusion Specialist with strong technical knowledge in hydraulic extrusion systems and recycled polymer processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, start, operate and monitor high-pressure hydraulic extrusion lines used to process recycled plastic materials into pellets, sheets or profiles.
- Configure and adjust extrusion parameters including melt temperature, pressure, screw speed and cooling rates.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and test hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders and fluid lines.
- Monitor extrusion performance and respond to viscosity variations commonly associated with reclaimed polymers.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and process-related equipment faults.
- Inspect extruded products for defects, bubbles, dimensional inconsistencies or uneven sizing.
- Adjust machine parameters to maintain consistent product quality and production efficiency.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a related technical field.
- Relevant hands-on experience operating and maintaining hydraulic extrusion machinery.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, pressure control and troubleshooting.
- Experience in plastic extrusion or recycled polymer processing is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of extrusion process parameters such as temperature, pressure, screw speed and cooling control.
- Able to independently diagnose process and equipment problems in a manufacturing environment.
