1.IT Strategy and Planning:
- Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets existing and future requirements,
- including the evolving needs of the ERP system and its integrations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use with specific considerations for the security and access controls within the ERP environment.
2.ERP System Management & Integration:
- Provide strategic oversight and manage the organization's ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365), ensuring its stability, performance, and alignment with business processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand ERP requirements, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure the system effectively supports critical business functions.
- Manage ERP system upgrades, patches, customizations, and integrations with other enterprise applications.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of ERP data, implementing appropriate access controls and security measures.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex ERP-related issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors for timely resolution.
3.Network Infrastructure Management:
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management, and related documentation, with attention to infrastructure supporting the ERP system.
- Establish service level agreements (SLAs) with end users including those related to the availability and performance of the ERP system and network services.
- Liaise and work closely with related divisions on the development of technology solutions and requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan, with a strong emphasis on seamless integration with the ERP landscape.
4.Problem Ownership & Resolution:
- Provide ownership of infrastructure/applications-related problems (this includes performing troubleshooting and diagnosis) through final resolution,
- including critical issues affecting the ERP system.
5.Hardware & Software Management:
- Plan, acquire, and install in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization's network, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance for the ERP system and related applications.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts, **including solutions that enhance the ERP environment.
- Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for IT infrastructure projects and associated efforts, with specific attention to ERP-related initiatives.
- Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades, **including those impacting the ERP system.
6.Server & Data Center Management:
- Manage, monitor, and ensure the effectiveness of servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software. Responsible for on-site and off-site data centers, ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery plans are in place for the entire IT infrastructure, including the ERP system.
7.Network Operations:
- Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and related equipment.
8.Security Management:
- Manage and ensure the effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems, with a strong focus on safeguarding the ERP system and sensitive data.
- Monitor security measures, identifying IT security vulnerabilities in the organization's network, including potential threats to the ERP environment.
9.Compliance & Audit:
- Attend meetings organized by Sunway Group and/or HISYS as required.
- Participate and provide audit support to Hitachi/HISYS internal IT audit and HITCO2 self-check.
- Participate in all IT projects in terms of IT Infrastructure, including the planning and execution of ERP-related projects such as implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
10.New Joiner Support:
- Provide support to new joiners which is related to IT matters i.e., ID creation, Laptop allocation, on-boarding briefing.
- Management of equipment leasing and outsourced services contracts, including those related to the ERP system and its support.
- Preparation of the annual IT budget, including forecasting and managing expenses related to the ERP system.
- Processing of IT-related invoices.
- Participate in any other ad-hoc task assigned by your superior or management.
