The Insurance Operations Associate supports policy administration and processing activities for markets such as Singapore and Hong Kong markets. The role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate policy issuance, premium billing, and customer servicing while meeting operational and regulatory requirements.
Job Description
The Insurance Operations Associate is responsible for performing routine and non-repetitive business processing tasks, including data entry, policy document issuance, and premium billing in compliance with established guidelines. The role requires analytical and investigative skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operations.
Validate and enter customer proposals, applications, and transactions into the designated policy processing system for specific lines of business.
Ensure adherence to processing turnaround times for policy applications and transaction processing.
Generate quotations, new policies, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and perform administrative tasks for consumer line products per the agreed Standard Operating Procedures.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with relevant stakeholders, including Underwriters and clients, to gather necessary information for policy administration and servicing.
Organize and maintain electronic databases, including performing data input and ongoing maintenance tasks.
Investigate and rectify any rework issues to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.
Job Qualifications
A bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in any field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in insurance operations, policy administration, underwriting support, or shared services environments is advantageous.
Basic understanding of general insurance products, policy administration, underwriting support, or insurance operations processes is preferred.
Experience in a Business Process Outsourcing or Shared Services environment is an added advantage.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is required as the role involves regular communication with Singapore and Hong Kong stakeholders and processing English-language policy documentation. Additional languages such as Cantonese is an advantage.

Role details:
Role may start as one year contract before conversion to permanent, subject to performance
Role will be returning to office (RTO) in Sunway Geo
