What your typical day will look like:

This internship is designed for individuals who are interested in Human Resources, employee experience, and workplace practices. As an HR Intern, you will work closely with the HR team to support day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR projects. You'll gain hands-on experience across different areas of HR while contributing to initiatives that support our people and the employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

Core responsibilities include:

HR Operations & Administration

  • Support the preparation of HR letters, forms, and employee documentation.
  • Assist with employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding and offboarding administration.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and update hiring trackers.
  • Support employer branding and campus engagement activities where required.

Employee Engagement & Events

  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives, wellness programmes, and company events.
  • Support communication and logistics for HR activities and training sessions.
  • Collect and compile employee feedback and participation data.

Learning & Development

  • Assist in coordinating training programmes and maintaining training records.
  • Support training registration, attendance tracking, and feedback compilation.
  • Assist in the end-to-end process of HRD Corp grant applications and claims, including document preparation, submission tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Prepare training-related communication materials.

HR Communication & Projects

  • Participate in HR improvement initiatives and special projects.
  • Prepare and coordinate the monthly HR newsletter, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Support ad hoc HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

A bit about you:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field, with availability for a minimum internship period of 3–6 months.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources and employee experience, with a customer-focused mindset and enthusiasm for supporting people-related initiatives.
