Responsibilities
As an intern, you will support the engineering team in the development and implementation of Substation Automation Systems and Smart Grid solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist engineers in the design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Substation Automation Systems and Smart Grid solutions.
- Support the engineering and parameterization of devices such as Bay Control Units (BCU), Remote Terminal Units (RTU), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).
- Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation, including engineering drawings, test logs, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method of Statements (MOS).
- Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities during project implementation.
- Provide technical support to the engineering team during project execution when required.
- Contribute to special engineering projects, research tasks, and technical improvements assigned by the engineering team.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed according to technical requirements and timelines.
Intern Requirement
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- Internship period MUST be at least 5 months and above.
- Internship allowance: RM1,000.
- MUST have own transport (preferably car or bike).
- Willingness to learn, work in a team, and participate in field work when required.
- Optional: Able to travel outstation (including Sabah & Sarawak) for on-site testing and services.
