IT Assistant Manager

[Job overview]

Collaborate with the Japan HQ IT team on network improvements, system implementation, cybersecurity initiatives, and compliance, while leading communication.

Lead and manage team members to align with Japan HQ's direction.

[Job responsibilities]

Establish and maintain the quality of overall IT systems with good efficiency and low cost management

Foresee and provide the best solution in enhancing the IT Security comprises of Network Security and Information Security

Ensure the network / IT components & devices are stable/compatible

Ensure the software & programs are up-to-date especially the network, server, firewall & antivirus

Perform day-to-day data backup activities and threat / virus evaluation, quarantine & prevention

Provide support & ad hoc troubleshooting operations

Control and manage the software license & compliance

Liaise with local authorities & IT provider when necessary

Support and back up subordinates during emergency

Manpower planning and recruitment

Involve in employee's assessment, evaluation & training / budget / SOP documentation

This position needs to ne flexible to visit Malacca (once twice a week)

MUST TO HAVE:

Minimum 3 years of in-house experience in network and server operations

Hands-on experience with software and hardware troubleshooting
