SENIOR DEVELOPER

Role Summary

The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting web applications, backend services, APIs, and system integration solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Flutter, with the ability to work effectively within an Agile Scrum environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with developers, testers, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of secure, scalable, high-quality software solutions within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, maintain, and support web applications and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Flutter.
2. Develop secure, scalable, responsive, and user-friendly applications based on business and technical requirements.
3. Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, system integrations, and frontend-backend interactions.
4. Participate in system design, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
5. Collaborate with developers, testers, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
6. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks across frontend and backend components.
7. Support application deployment, testing, production activities, and technical troubleshooting.
8. Ensure applications meet required standards for performance, usability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
9. Follow Agile Scrum practices, coding standards, development methodologies, and software engineering best practices.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, application performance, and overall solution quality.

Qualification & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Experience developing enterprise-level web applications and backend services.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• Angular
• Flutter
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and system integration services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, JPA/Hibernate, and relational database concepts.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Experience with frontend technologies including Angular Material and RxJS.
• Experience using Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of application security mechanisms, including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience working on government or enterprise-scale projects will be an added advantage.
