Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Site Supervisor with a Quantity Surveying background to join our interior and renovation project team.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working between site and office, coordinating subcontractors, checking work progress, assisting with measurements, claims, costing, and ensuring renovation works are completed according to drawings, timeline, quality standards, and budget.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities for interior renovation and fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, designers, and project team.
- Monitor work progress, workmanship quality, site safety, and project schedule.
- Read and understand drawings, layout plans, and renovation specifications.
- Assist in site measurement, quantity take-off, costing, quotation, and BOQ preparation.
- Track materials, site progress, variation orders, and subcontractor claims.
- Prepare simple progress reports, site photos, and project updates.
- Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and client requirements.
- Support project handover, defect checking, and final account documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Interior Architecture, Building, or related field.
- Fresh graduates with strong learning attitude are welcome; 1-3 years experience is an advantage.
- Experience in interior renovation, fit-out, carpentry, or construction will be preferred.
- Able to read drawings and perform basic site measurements.
- Basic knowledge of costing, BOQ, claims, VO, and subcontractor coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic documentation.
- Responsible, organized, willing to learn, and able to work under site conditions.
- Able to communicate well with workers, suppliers, and clients.
- Possess own transport is preferred.
