You will be accountable to achieve underwriting profit with prudent underwriting by risks evaluation and selection for the expansion of Specialized Liability portfolio, and within the Company's guidelines / procedures / LOA and ensuring compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will select risks prudently in order to balance between premium growth and portfolio profitability and support Business Units such as Enterprise Corporate, Agency, Branches and Business Banking in negotiating with the intermediaries.
You will review non-standard policy wordings provided by reinsurers or RI brokers and review the claims history for new and renewal risks.
You will ensure that all requests for quotations from Business Units are attended to in timely manner.
Job Requirements
You must possess a bachelor's degree in actuarial science or insurance or risk management or its equivalent.
You must have at least 3 - 4 years of working experience in underwriting for liability cases Having strong technical knowledge with liability underwriting or claims would be advantageous.
You must have good interpersonal, problem solving and leadership skills to enable further success in this role.
