Job Summary:The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests at the swimming pool by monitoring activities, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean and safe pool environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests in and around the swimming pool.
- Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules, regulations, and hotel policies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, perform water rescues, and administer first aid or CPR when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the swimming pool and ensure all pool equipment is clean, functional, and safe to use.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report any hazards or maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide excellent guest service and support daily hotel operations.
Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lifeguard, preferably in a hotel, resort, or recreational facility.
- Possess a valid Bronze Medallion certification and First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Friendly, responsible, and service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
