Logistics Executive

Provide Process Engineering support on product/process improvement pertaining to molding and other process in achieving Operations Efficiency, Safety and Cost effective. Lead continuous improvement program to improve product margin to ensure products exceeds Customer's specifications at lowest cost, with compliance to ISO14001, IATF16949 and VDA6.3 requirements to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including Singapore export/import permits and Malaysia Customs declarations (K1 & K2 forms).
• Coordinate import and export shipments, including shipment booking arrangements with freight forwarders.
• Ensure proper matching, verification, and filing of customer-endorsed Delivery Orders, invoices, K2 forms, and Singapore permits.
• Conduct RFQ exercises for freight costs (air, sea, and courier shipments), perform quotation comparisons, and follow up on delivery status.
• Prepare marine insurance reports, scrap reports, and recycling programme tracking with trend analysis.
• Consolidate shipment bookings and arrange transportation for export, import, and local deliveries.
• Prepare monthly shipping cost reports and monitor logistics expenses.
• Maintain good knowledge and compliance with Malaysia import and export customs procedures, including K1 and K2 declarations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in logistics/shipping operations within a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of import and export procedures, customs documentation, and freight coordination.
• Experience handling cross-border shipments and working with freight forwarders is preferred.
