We're looking for a vigilant, professional, and service-oriented Loss Prevention Officer (Security) to help protect our guests, associates, and property while maintaining the energetic and welcoming atmosphere that defines the Moxy brand.
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you'll be responsible for monitoring hotel safety and security operations, responding to incidents and emergencies, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company safety standards. You'll play a critical role in creating a secure environment where guests and Crew members can feel confident and cared for.
What You'll Do
- Patrol guest floors, public areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and hotel grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Assist guests with room access and provide support when required.
- Monitor CCTV systems, fire life safety systems, perimeter alarms, and emergency response systems.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify potential hazards or security risks.
- Respond to emergencies, accidents, fire alarms, medical incidents, and security-related situations.
- Administer first aid and CPR when required and coordinate with emergency services.
- Prepare accurate incident, accident, and daily activity reports.
- Investigate safety, security, theft, property damage, and other loss prevention incidents.
- Gather evidence, conduct interviews, and document findings in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist guests and associates during emergency situations, evacuations, or crisis events.
- Handle disturbances professionally and help de-escalate guest or employee conflicts.
- Manage access control and secure hotel entrances, exits, and restricted areas when required.
- Escort unauthorized individuals from the property while maintaining professionalism and guest service standards.
- Respond to vehicle-related incidents, theft reports, and other security concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security-related information, reports, and investigations.
- Work closely with hotel leadership to support safety awareness and risk prevention initiatives.
