Job Description

  • Manage daily equipment operations across ports and depots to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
  • Coordinate empty container movements between ports and develop container allocation plans based on operational requirements.
  • Forecast equipment demand and ensure sufficient container availability to support customer needs.
  • Oversee container receiving and delivery schedules while ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate container inventory records, including inspections, monitoring, and operational tracking.
  • Analyze container utilization and operational performance, preparing reports and recommending improvement initiatives.
  • Compile volume statistics, conduct cost analysis, and support equipment-related settlement processes.
  • Monitor container circulation and repositioning activities to ensure timely availability across the network.
  • Manage import and export container return processes, including repair costs, storage charges, and repositioning settlements.
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service quality and supporting cargo surveys, transloading activities, and claims-related cases.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Maintenance Equipment Executive Should Have

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within shipping lines, container operations, equipment control, logistics, or freight forwarding environments.
  • Strong understanding of container management, equipment planning, and depot operations.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in reporting, cost analysis, and operational performance monitoring.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different countries and operational locations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with regional stakeholders.
