To manage the day-to-day functions of the Finance and Accounts, including supporting other departments within the Group to enable the Group to achieve its objectives.
To manage various, co-operate matters including reporting and compliances with Bursa Listing requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Finance
Report to CFO on financial and operational matters.
To ensure Compliance of the statutory requirements such as IFRS, Income Tax Act, KLSE, SC guideline and Companies Act for the group's financial statements.
To prepare budget, business plan, monthly management and financial reports, product costing, taxation and other ad-hoc reports as requested.
Tax minimisation, budget control and effective costing for pricing and cost reduction.
To ensure implementation of effective risk management.
To involve in cash flow management of the Group.
Review monthly consolidated accounts, financial results and management reports.
Review and update of budget and investigate material variances in actual results.
Review quarterly results and arrange for corporate announcement and liaise with advisors on any corporate exercises.
Review the Group's Product Costing.
Provide training to other staff on finance related matters, if necessary.
Review preparation of tax estimates including liaising with tax agents and ensuring timely and accurate tax computation and submission of tax returns.
Implement and oversee internal controls and financial systems to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and financial due diligence when necessary.
Align financial policies and reporting frameworks to maintain consistency and transparency.
Provide strategic input on business expansions, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
Oversee the IT department (Manufacturing), ensuring technology investments (SAP) align with financial objectives.
Monitor IT expenditures and optimize technology-related costs.
Ensure IT systems and financial data security measures comply with industry regulations and best practices.
Any other related functions as assigned by the Management.
