Job Description
To facilitate IT related projects/change requests/production fixes for UOB Group, overseas subsidiaries and branches in the management accounting domains. Lead team members, including external vendors, to deliver IT solutions to bank's end-user. The solution scope involves Management Reporting applications to enhance the bank's operation readiness and financial prowess. Forward looking and agile to adapt to changing bank's needs and dynamic working environment
What you are expected to do:
- Understand business function and analyse users requirements, make a clear scope of project and build consensus with users
- Lead in analysis and scoping of data sourcing and functional enhancements, functional/application design, functional specifications, discuss and obtain users agreements
- Obtain commitments from all identified stakeholders on creation of project plan and handle of project change management
- Create project schedule, project activity list and control to keep the schedule and within budget
- Prepare SIT test schedule and develop test cases
- Arrange with users to conduct User Acceptance Test and arrange with development team to prepare necessary test environment and support functional testing
- Monitor and report on the progress of UAT and follow up with the error resolution
- Prepare necessary documents to facilitate and deliver the project (Release checklist, UAT results, etc)
- Manage the technical delivery within timeline and with quality
- Manage change request and defect with release control
- Manage project issues, user and vendor expectations
- Ensure end-user satisfaction and meeting service level agreement
- Provide coaching to team and to build high performance team
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of IT experience within the banking and financial services industry.
- Strong functional expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP)
- Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), including Budgeting & Forecasting
- Consolidated Financial Reporting (CFR)
- Candidates with relevant functional knowledge are encouraged to apply, regardless of experience with specific products such as: OFSAA, OneStream, Wolters Kluwer, SAP
- Other equivalent financial management solutions
- Experience in Management Accounting, Profitability Reporting, and Financial Reporting within a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of financial applications, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cost Management
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Good understanding of data from Core Banking and Treasury systems.
- Hands-on experience in data mapping, data sourcing, and data warehouse integration.
- Strong capabilities in requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional design.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
